SPRINGTIME SKY TOUR

Springtime in the Northern Hemisphere presents a fantastic opportunity to view many new celestial targets as they come into view. As temperatures begin to warm, it’s easier to venture outside to discover what the night sky has to offer, most optimally away from the lights of an urban environment. With many of us so eager to get outside again, observing the night sky is a great way to enrich your natural curiosity of our magnificent universe.

The visual appearance of most celestial objects is not “eye catching.” I find that the exciting part is knowing what you are looking at. These objects are extremely far away, vast in size and beyond our experience. This gives us an intellectual component when we are engaged with seeing them with our own eyes.
