MATERIALS

• Premier Yarns Anti-Pilling Everyday Worsted medium (worsted) weight acrylic yarn (3½ oz/ 180 yds/100g per ball): 2 balls #100-79 fawn

1 ball each #100-31 peacock, #100-81 porcelain blue, #100-68 Aran and #100-01 snow white

• Size G/6/4mm crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge

• Tapestry needle

• Stitch marker

• Polyester fiberfill

GAUGE

8 hdc = 2 inches; 6 hdc rows = 2 inches

PATTERN NOTES

Weave in loose ends as work progresses.

Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated.

Flippers and Head are worked in continuous rounds; do not join unless otherwise stated. Place stitch marker in first stitch and move up as each round is completed.

SPECIAL STITCHES

Popcorn (pc): 5 hdc in indicated st, draw up a lp, remove hook, insert hook in first hdc made from front to back, pick up dropped lp, yo, pull through both lp and st on hook.

Small shell: 5 hdc in indicated st.

Large shell: 5 dc in indicated st.

SPECIAL TECHNIQUE

Insert hook in indicated st, drop current color to back
