Born 1962 in Recife, in the North-East of Brazil, Mozart Guerra studied architecture at the Federal University of Pernambuco, where he graduated as an architect in 1986. At the end of the 1980s, using his knowledge of space and volumes, he produced a large number of sets for theater, carnival, television, and cinema. At the same time, Guerra devoted himself to his passion for sculpture by drawing inspiration from the techniques and materials used in the workshops.
