Trek Speed Concept SLR 9

Anyone who knows me knows I’m a massive fan of racing time trials, riding TT bikes, and talking about TT bikes. So, naturally, I jumped at the chance to test the new generation of one of the world’s most revered time trial bikes: Trek’s Speed Concept.

First impression in taking possession: it’s light. I ride my TT bike a lot. Frequently it’s hefted into and out of the boot of my car. Knowing the weight gains that have accompanied disc brake bikes, I was honestly surprised it was as light as it was.
