Show me a bike rider who doesn’t love a rail trail and I’ll show you a liar.

Traversing 49km from Bendigo to Heathcote, the O’Keefe Rail Trail has something for everyone. Rail trails are known for their even surface, gentle hills and gradual bends and this ride is no different. It charts a relatively straight course from town to town and gains 253 metres in elevation – it’s not flat, but any trained cyclist could tick off the miles without too much effort.
