DABBLE IN A PADDLE

A new activity made its appearance at this year’s NEC show for the first time. Alongside the usual Great British Seaside attraction and Peak Challenge climbing wall, a custom-built pool was constructed at the rear of Hall 5 (otherwise accommodating camper and awning companies).

Here, outdoor activity enthusiasts could try canoeing and, for the first time, stand up paddle boarding, all under the supervision of Canoe Trail.

Judging by the line of eager teens willing to give it a go, the new pool was a fabulous success!
