KdF-WAGEN PENCIL SET & BOX

The year was 1938 and Dr. Porsche had completed in the previous years several series of prototype cars that eventually would become the KdF-Wagen (Volkswagen Beetle as we know it today). A suitable location for the production factory was decided upon in northern Germany.
