STARTING YOUNG Jack Radford, of Oadby Wyggestonian, has followed his dreams and become a referee. He began playing for Leicester-based Wyggs aged six and went through to the U13 team. After reaching the RFU minimum age requirement of 14, he joined an official referees course. Radford cannot join his county referees society until he’s 16 but is officiating at matches up to U14 level.
