MILESTONES IN A HALF-CENTURY OF SEA ANGLER

The magazine’s arrival on the publishing scene coincided with the golden years of electronic boat angling, started at Brixham in 1965 by commercial skipper Dudley Stone who owned a trawler Ko I Nor with whom I fished regularly. The following year the trio of John Trust, Ernie Passmore and the boat ‘Our Unity’ took the angling world alight, their anglers making colossal catches at the hundreds of wrecks, victims of two world wars, that lay on the bottom of Lyme Bay.
