    WHY IS MY MAILBOX FULL WHEN I TRASH MESSAGES?

    You most probably need to set incoming mail to be automatically deleted from the server. In Settings, tap Mail > Accounts and open the account concerned. In the Incoming Settings section, set Delete from server to “When removed from Inbox”.
