IT ALL STARTED SO IDEALISTICALLY. There would be a garden and there would be chickens. There would be ducks to keep the snails at bay. Useful farm cats and a friendly farm dog. I imagined peaceful and productive cohabitation, animals with purpose, and an abundant and organised garden. Hahaha.
