In the first two decades of her life, Roanna Jefferd moved house 17 times. Now, she and husband Jack are raising their children on rural Gisborne land imbued with almost 150 years of family history, and they expect to grow old there. In the meantime, five-year-old Frankie, preschooler Henry and twin toddlers Alfie and Posey have the run of a property where Jack’s great-great-grandfather once stood.
