22 Cars Coming in 2022

SINCE THE PANDEMIC, THE GLOBAL AUTOMOTIVE industry has seen red, be it production or sales, and the dip has been consistent. With the commencement of vaccination drives, the dip seems to have taken a turn. Manufacturers are back at it, introducing more new models and exciting variants. AUDI Q3

Earlier, the Q3 was the entry point to Audi’s SUV line-up that was later taken by the Q2. For 2022, we are expecting a facelift Q3. The changes seen on the international-spec Q3 — the sharp LED headlamps, updated grille design, and reworked tail-lamps — will be seen on the India-spec car, too. The Q3 is expected to come with Audi’s “35 TFSI” 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine capable of 190 hp and 320 Nm. The interior will also see a refresh in the form of an all-digital dashboard and new MMI touch infotainment. Prices are expected to start from Rs 40 lakh and it will lock horns with the likes of the BMW X1, the Mercedes-Benz GLA, and the Volvo XC40.

AUDI Q7

The German marque will also reintroduce its seven-seater premium SUV, the Q7. It bears their refreshed design language and sports a set of LED Matrix headlamps, LED tail-lamps, new front and rear bumpers, and chrome accents. This time, it will be offered either as a five- or seven-seat
