MUSIC HAS BEEN an integral part of the career of Shane “Swerve” Strickland. From the opening strains of Chaka Khan’s “Ain’t Nobody,” which accompanied him to the ring so faithfully on the indies, to the collaborative effort that was Hit Row’s NXT theme song, “Swerve’s” various entrance themes have set the tone for the larger-than-life persona about to hit the ring.

“Throughout my career, I’ve had music play a big role in my character as a professional wrestler,” Strickland told PWI. “I really just want to give a feel and a presence as myself, and everyone knows how huge of a role music plays in my life.”
