CELEBRATING THE JOY OF FINDING FRESH INSPIRATION WITH JANE E. HALL
“Focus should be on the process rather than the outcome.”
Ever since I was tiny I’ve marvelled at nature’s treasures and their endless ability to inspire creativity from season toat first glance – perhaps a butterfly sunning itself, or spiders’ webs glistening between blades of grass. . I love meandering through meadows or visiting a bluebell wood, taking time to delight in what I see and to find creative inspiration. I often make little wildflower fairies from a few delicate stems and spring petals, or I’ll draw a butterfly that I’ve encountered. Pencil sketches help to clarify the complexity of each species, and I might then spend weeks absorbed in the deeply meditative process of bringing an embroidered butterfly to life, stitch by tiny stitch, using whisper-fine silk. , and focus should be on the process rather than the outcome. My new book encourages people to explore their creativity through observing and cherishing the natural world.
