“The 1960s witnessed many firsts in synthesis but it was a preparatory decade for what was to come. To mark this crossover decade’s synth palette, this collection includes tone-wheel organs (ie Hammond), electric organs (Farfisa and Vox Continental), the Mellotron (but not the later 70s models – keeping it historic), a Moog Modular and an oscillator-based synth à la Silver Apples. The Moog patches we used for these takes the clean approach of keyboard artists.
