Controlling weeds in a potato land

Weed control in a potato crop can be chemical, mechanical, or a combination of the two. If nutgrass is present in the land, it will have to be controlled; this weed not only affects the crop’s performance, but has the ability to grow right through a potato, rendering it unmarketable.
