Dave Cook were fixed for its Japanese release, or that the Amstrad and Spectrum versions of had a cracking multiplayer mode. It’s inconsistent too, with some arcade games mentioning their cut-down ports, while others omit well-known differences, like ’s extra stage on Mega Drive or ’s hamstrung SNES port. It’s still a very entertaining read (Dave is a great writer) but ultimately, it lacks fine detail.
