Yildiz SPZ .410

THIS month’s test concerns a .410 Yildiz SPZ over-and-under non-ejector made in Turkey and imported by Raytrade of Whitchurch. It’s an alloy-actioned, single-trigger, 3in-chambered gun weighing in at just over 5lb with 26in barrels. Well priced with an RRP of £499, it is a popular model often bought to teach young Shots. Tested here is the least expensive version with plain extractors, but an ejector is available for £100 more, and there are options of 28in and 30in barrels. It’s probably the best-selling .410 these days and comes with a five-year guarantee.
