THE Fernie’s Will Bishop was a wide-margin winner of the new Cottesmore hunt ride with Top Up The Fashion, whom he bought out of trainer Charlie Mann’s yard last spring. It was the Court Cave eight-year-old’s debut in one of these races and Will’s first “competitive” attempt in them.

Will, who works in property in London and keeps “Karl” at the Walker family’s Withcote yard, said: “It was a nice surprise to win – I didn’t really know how it would all go, but we’ve done a lot of work with Karl since we got him in March
