A landmark in the Namibian tourism industry, Grootberg Lodge sits atop the Etendeka Plateau, overlooking the Klip River Valley. Equidistant between Etosha National Park and Swakopmund, it is the ideal halfway stop for travellers, although it is worth seeking out in its own right too. Thanks to ongoing conservation efforts, black rhino and desert-adapted elephant, among other wildlife, roam freely and the hospitality is second to none.
