Elise Chu Miow Lin

An ode to the colour blue, that’s one way of describing Elise Chu Miow Lin’s work. Based in France, Elise is the embroidery artist behind Fukanō Kanō, and she has something of a knack for blending the line between sketching and stitching, making use of monochrome outlines to recreate her linework drawings in thread. “Blue is definitely my favourite colour,” she admits. “But to be honest, I have a passion for colours in general. I spend hours looking at colours, thinking about them, talking about them, looking for all the different shades.”
