    There are a number of housing design guides that are ‘go to’ reference books for architects designing apartments – Floor Plan Manual/Grundrissatlas (Schneider et al., 2018), now in its fifth edition, and The Housing Design Handbook (Levitt and McCafferty, 2018) are two good European references. The Apartment House (Bruhn and Butler, 2017) is a reference from closer to home (Australia).
