BASSMASTER ELITE SERIES weigh-in emcee Dave Mercer has dubbed Austin Felix “the Sleepy Assassin” due to his penchant for wearing pajama pants while fishing, his uber-laid-back stage demeanor and his ninja-like competitive edge. Much has been written about the Minnesota pro’s long-running bout with Lyme disease; I won’t jump into those waters here. Instead, I’ll just say that Felix is one of the savviest bass anglers I’ve ever shared a boat with.
