Still life photography is a very distinct genre of photography. It is a unique field in which the photographer is totally responsible for all technical and creative aspects of the photograph. The choice of subject, lighting, background, color palette, composition, and location all fall under the complete control of the photographer, who can skillfully breathe life into their inanimate subjects. It also provides ample room for experimentation, as the photographer has plenty of time to set up his photo.
In order to be successful at still life photography, one needs to find ways to make their photos visually attractive.
