PATTERN NOTES
This design is worked flat and in separate pieces. The front and back are worked from the bottom up, and then seamed together at the shoulders using the three-needle cast-off method. The neckband is then picked up and worked in the round. The sleeves are also worked flat and from the bottom up. Once the sleeves are finished, they are then grafted to the body. The sleeves and sides seams are closed using mattress stitch.
The intarsia pattern of four different colours of stripes is worked all over the front and back. It ends when the shoulder shaping is reached. The sleeves are worked in one colour only.
When changing from one colour to the next, make sure to twist together the two yarns on the WS of the work.
