    Colorado’s Bandimere Speedway’s is unlike any other drag racing facility in the country. This track’s roots go back to 1958 when John Bandimere, Sr. purchased a piece of property where he and his family built a small dragstrip — literally on the side of a mountain at 5,800-foot elevation! This facility grew gradually throughout the years, until it underwent a major $4 million improvement/expansion project in 1988.
