STILL AN ISSUE
You made some great comments (Editor’s comment, 23 February) regarding hunters having to do a bit of work to achieve a small bag. I particularly enjoyed the huge smile on Jack Bell’s face at managing a single pinkfoot off the estuary (Avoiding barnacles and blistering cold, 2 February).
I’ve seen a couple of social media posts that portray the opposite rationale on bag limits; one on the marsh and the other of sporting agents inland killing too many geese and saying: “We got tired of shooting”.
