THE SECOND TIME AROUND
(Ed's note) "I met Rick in 1986 in Houston, Texas, while on a freelance assignment photographing a shop tour and a few rods. I asked the shop owner if he knew of any other rods in the area that might be available to photograph, and he said he had a friend who lived nearby and had a blue and flamed '39 Ford coupe that was a fresh build. We crossed paths many times over the years and are still friends 35-plus years later. Rick's a great asset to our rodding community, and
