Keeping It Real

Racing looks a little different for me these days. Growing up as a junior and progressing into seniors I never had anything to worry about apart from riding the bike. Fast forward 20-plus years and trying to get organised to do a few one-off races is almost like preparing for a full season.

Trying to be the best dad I can be and a husband while running a concreting business is my main focus. I still love riding and racing but doing it my way is what I like. I’ve ridden for teams in the past and you always have expectations, obligations and limitations hanging over your head.
