THE ROYAL JUBILEE

The Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria was celebrated on 22 June 1897 to mark the occasion of the sixtieth anniversary of Queen Victoria's coronation on 20 June 1837. It was the first Diamond Jubilee celebration of any British monarch in history.

Queen Elizabeth II will be celebrating 70 years as reigning British Monarch on Thursday 2nd June 2022 - this will be a Platinum Jubilee and will be celebrated
