Bart stays sweet for grand prix victory

JOE TRUNKFIELD claimed back-to-back winter grand prix wins with Su and Gordon Hall’s scopey Grennanstown Sarco Luxhill, taking South View’s feature class two weeks after winning at Solihull.

“He’s big with so much scope but he’s insecure and needs to believe in himself, then he’d be confident to win any class,” said Joe. “He had a sweetener in day one’s 1.20m, popped round the 1.40m but I saved him for the grand prix.”
