Pros outweigh the cons

In response to Neil Downie’s letter ‘The jury’s still out’ [March issue], the World Handicap System may appear complicated at first, but I do believe it is good for the game. Yes, you do need to play a number of rounds before you receive a handicap, but if you play on a regular basis then it’s not a problem.
