    • 4 (5, 6, 7, 7) balls 50gm Twilleys Freedom Sincere DK in shade #608 Ocean (on boy) and #623 (on girl)

    • 5 buttons

    • Optional – 2 extra buttons for pocket decoration

    NEEDLES AND TOOLS

    • 3.25mm knitting needles

    • 4mm knitting needles

    MEASUREMENTS

    Size chest: 56, 61, 66, 71, 76cm

    Finished fit: 63, 68, 74, 79, 85cm

    Garment length: 35, 40, 44, 48, 51cm

    Sleeve length: 23, 27, 31, 35, 39cm

    TENSION

    22 stitches by 28 rows over stocking stitch on 4mm needles to 10cm.

    WORKING PATTERN BACK

    Using 3.25mm needles, cast on 69 (75, 81, 87, 93) sts.

    Row 1: RS - K1, *P1, K1, rep from * to end.

    Row 2: P1, *K1, P1, rep from * to end.

    These 2 rows form rib.

    Work in rib for a further 10 rows, ending with a WS row.

    Change to 4mm needles.
