Blasted hotels readying to reopen

Many hotels in Beirut stopped their operations in the face of the many obstacles since the events starting in October 2019. Up and running hotels like boutique hotels, long-term stay hotels, and apart-hotels were able to survive the compounded crises. These hotels maintained the flow of operations thanks to a series of decisions that kept this particular segment of the hospitality sector alive. According to , Chairman of the Lebanese Hotel Association (LHA), more than 3,000 rooms are still closed in Beirut. They include the InterContinental’s Phoenicia, the Four Seasons, and Le Gray.
