• Daler-Rowney FW Acrylic Artist Ink
• Winsor & Newton “Artists’ Water Colour” paints (now relabeled to “Professional Water Colour”). Colours used in this painting include:
– Sepia
– Vandyke Brown
– Burnt Umber
– Burnt Sienna
– Neutral tint
– Paynes Grey
– Indigo
– Indanthrene Blue
– Yellow Ochre
– Permanent Sap Green
– Permanent Alizarin Crimson
• Brushes: I use a combination of round brushes from different brands for watercolour painting, however all have pure red sable bristles (brands: Holcroft, Winsor & Newton, and Jasart). I find that synthetic bristles lack the water-and-pigment-holding capacity of the sable bristles, and not only do they demonstrate poor shape and rebound in the short term, but with prolonged use they tend to develop a permanent bend in the bristle
