Q. Two locals adorn an unknown car, sometime after World War II. This photo was taken by my grandfather, Josef Eckert, in his hometown, Hollstadt, Germany. The dapper gent is probably the owner. Is it an Opel, perhaps? Note the “road apples” in front of the car! — Mark Axen, Stony Creek, N.Y.
