Under warm-but-mild skies, Greenfield Village at The Henry Ford complex in Dearborn, Mich., welcomed more than 400 vintage vehicles for the 70th edition of its Old Car Festival. First conducted in 1951, this is considered to be the oldest continuous such show in the United States. For the first time in its history, it had been canceled for 2020, a casualty of the pandemic, but everything seemed back to normal for 2021.

Conducted on Sept. 11 and 12, 2021, this two-day event remained unlike nearly every other car show. The setting is Henry Ford’s Greenfield
