March mania
ound the trumpets, bring in the bagpipes and do a little jig is back for their long-awaited return. After a two-year hiatus, the Newman Center for Performing Arts is excited to welcome back one of Denver’s best annual St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. This sensory kaleidoscope performance includes Celtic dance, brass, bagpipes, hammered dulcimer, Irish tenor and more. The unique mix of musicians creates a fantastic ensemble with a wide variety of tone colors. “When you experience the sound of brass and bagpipes together, there really is nothing else quite like it,” says Kathy Brantigan, Denver Brass Artistic Director and Founder. “You cannot help but be inspired every time you hear it.”
