Sewists know the power of making clothes they love, clothes that are unique and personal and clothes that will stand the test of time, and it’s fair to say the world in general is waking up to the problems caused by fast and throwaway fashion.

    There’s a growing desire for change, with many people looking to make a positive step towards curating their own ‘me-made wardrobe’. Sewing your own me-made wardrobe, or handmade wardrobe, may feel a bit overwhelming or even unattainable, but, as these creative and inspiring sewists prove, there’s nothing to be nervous about when it comes to taking claim of your clothes!
