1 WHY QUILTED?

With the extra steps involved in making quilted garments, you may be wondering whether it’s worth the effort. What’s the advantage of all that padding? Aside from the aesthetic value, it does serve a purpose too – it keeps us warm. The wadding that makes up the core of quilted items traps air within its fibres and creates a layer of cosy insulation, making it ideal for cooler weather.
