Secure your iPhone
You may believe that your iPhone and all of the associated Apple services are secure. You may believe that you own the most secure products on the consumer market and that you are safe from digital danger. Well, you would be both correct and incorrect which is an unusual place to be in, but please let us explain. There is little doubt that the iPhone and its associated services are possibly the most secure on the market, but there is no such thing as completely safe if you connect to the internet through any device. Apple has worked hard on privacy and security over the past decade and even more so with iOS 15, but there are still many things you can and should do to remain as secure as possible. We will highlight some simple changes you can make, some habits you should adopt and a variety of options that can adapt to your needs and make you feel more secure as you go about your day-to-day business. Please remember that no matter how much advice you follow, you still need to be sensible and look after your iPhone and passwords as you would all other aspects of your life. Prioritising security is essential.
Secure your logins
You will almost certainly be aware of Face ID and it is possible that you have considered the passcode to be a security feature of the past. This is true to a point, but the passcode is actually very useful and possibly the most important practical security feature on your iPhone. Both features together make for a formidable and secure brick wall.
It grows with you
Face ID can adapt to your changing appearance over time, but we would suggest to use the ‘Alternative Appearance’ option to scan your face twice. This adds a little more accuracy to the logging in process and only takes seconds.
