GETTING STARTED

Note: every yo twice only counts as 1 stitch as one of the yo’s will be dropped off needle again on next row

WORKING PATTERN SHAWL

With 4.5mm needles cast on 2 sts.

Row 1: RS - K2.

Row 2: K1, M1, k1. 3 sts.

Row 3: K1, k into front & back of next st, k1. 4 sts.

Row 4: K.

Row 5: K2, yo twice, k2. 5 sts.

Row 6 & all other WS rows: K across but k only one of every double yo’s and drop every 2nd yo off needle (to make larger whole).

Row 7: K2, yo twice, k1,
