“I THOUGHT I WAS HOPELESS at everything that required creativity. I can’t paint or draw, can’t really knit, I can’t even cut in a straight line! I truly felt creatively challenged.”
Understandably, with this thinking as her background, Megan had never been to a Bead & Gem Show before; nor had she any interest in beading until she decided, in an effort to save money, to make her own belly dancing costume for classes she was attending. Her plan was to sew a few coins onto a skirt and make a simple bracelet. The bracelet took her three days to figure out. It was just enough time to develop a healthy curiosity
