UTO-TRAINS, or push-and-pull trains, have just made their first appearance on the Lancashire and Yorkshire section of the London and North Western Railway, a service having been inaugurated on February 6 between Manchester (Victoria) and Atherton. The engines employed are Horwich-built 2-4-2
