Sybil’s new boiler in the frames

THE new boiler made for Sybil Locomotive Trust’s was lifted into the frames for the first time on December 3. The next tasks are establishing locations for fixings such as the saddle tank, boiler cladding and firehole door assembly. Ex-Dinorwic last steamed in the 1960s. The dismantled components were purchased by a consortium of West Lancashire Light Railway members, subsequently becoming The Sybil Locomotive Trust, in 2013.
