Murramarang National Park

Why visit?

Visitors flock to the coastal areas south of Sydney for a wide variety of reasons: the beaches are among the best in the world for swimming, surfing and fishing and they’re close to interesting and varied native forests. The area is also rich in Aboriginal cultural heritage and a haven for native animals and birds.

The Murramarang National Park is a designated area that extends from just west of Bawley Point to the northern headland of Batemans Bay and inland as far as the edge of the Princes Highway. It takes in Termeil Lake and Beach, Snapper Point and Pretty Beach at its northern end and Pebbly Beach, Depot Beach and Durras Lake in the middle, with Honeysuckle Beach and North Head Beach
