RISE UP & FIGHT

Gale force winds threw me down the moraine slopes on the approach though Silence Valley in Torres del Paine. Despite the conditions, a sense of freedom washed over me and I was excited to once again find myself in this wild place where I had learned to climb big walls. Through trial and error and luck, I had managed to summit all four of the Towers of Paine over the last couple of seasons, and had come in search of an adventure led by a blurry photo and faint memories of reddish granite.
