ave Micus wrote an essay for this magazine in 2005, about, in Newbury, MA. But that is underusing his talent. Essays are his strong suit. There’s good writing on stripers, as you’d expect from a New Englander, but also on Montana, where he lived for a bit. Micus will often refer reverentially to other flyfishing books or writers. But he has produced some reverence-worthy work of his own. Published through Amazon.
