RIDER Glyn Ovens
LOCATION Nazaré, Portugal

Glyn: We woke to the thumping shore break on 'Town Beach' below. Tom (Court) hadn't slept well, I am not surprised, this was the biggest swell he had seen. The swell was solid, and the cleanliness of the light/air was impeccable. With not a drop of water out of place, sun shining and barely any wind, we headed to 'First peak': autonomous, anxious, but confident that something special was going to go down… eFoil meets Nazaré, Nazaré meets eFoil. What a day to push what’s possible.

I had to go down to my smallest wing, the 3.5M MOJO and the HA1100 Foil paired with the new Boom75 Board from Levitaz.

Kaupo has limited ocean access and unpredictable wind conditions, so we hired an escort boat and waited for a strong east wind forecast. When the Windy app showed a purple map we said “let’s
